from this day on, i am setting myself free from all the daydreaming that i do.

i'm not going to hope that he likes us to be more than friends anymore.

i now realize that i do know him, and that my hunch is right.

he knows that i have feelings for him.

he, on the other hand, knows me too well.

because he knew that i'll deny it to him when he'd ask me about it.

and the thing is: hindi nya ako type. 

nage-gets mo ba ako?

basta.

i won't spill the details.

… 

yeah, it hurts. 

it'll take me a while to find somebody who will FINALLY love me back.

ung hindi lang friends friends.

… 

at least, my pride is still intact.

i know i can still stare at his face when we see each other. 

sabi nga nya, when he feels that a friend had fallen for him, it's ok, as long as they know each other's limits.

so there.

tears might flow sooner or later, but i'll wipe 'em dry.

because now i'm not imprisoned with my false hopes and aspirations.

Facing My Fears, Living My Dreams

i was included in the CEFP OIDOS' TOP 10!!!

but i'm having second thoughts.

am skurd.

i wasn't really serious about joining a singing contest.

i mean, i can carry a tune, but my voice ain't "birit material", dude.

so i am in a dilemma of choosing a song that wouldn't make me the laughing stock of the college…

kasi yun ang aking fear… humiliation.

can you help?

well, backing out wasn't part of my options, though.

sayang ang chance.

this might be a sign for a career change. *may ganun? nyahahaha~*

besides, had i lost to my fear of speaking in public, i would never be a debater.

kea aun… to live my dreams, i must face my fears!

Tips on Gift-Giving Part 1

wee, malapit na ang christmas!

sa mga bagets, panahon na naman ng hamon, regalo at malulutong na pera!

at sa mga katulad nating adults, it's christmas shopping time!

sa edad kong 18, lima na ang inaanaks ko. ay, apat na lang pala kasi estranged na yung isa, aheks.

sina aaron joseph (6y/o), ryza (4y/o), reinier (3 y/o), at akil (1y/o) ay naghihintay na ng regalo mula sa kanilang ninang muning.

namiss ko tuloy nung ako ang nage-expect ng regalo, ahuhu…..

eniway, clueless ba kayo kung ano ang ibibigay sa mga inaanaks?

here are four tips on giving gifts to kids. di po kasama ang isip-bata, hane?

 

1. never give paper bills with large amounts of cash to kids. sayang, mapupunit lang si ninoy. tutal, di rin naman sila ang makikinabang sa ibibigay nyu, better give it to their mommies na lang. bwahahahahaha! *jokelang*

 

2. on buying clothes, make sure it is a size bigger than the kid's. sa bilis lumaki ng mga bagets, lalo na yung mga babies, ang christmas gift nyo ngayon ay basahan na lang six months after kapag ibinili nyo sila ng fit sa size nila.

 

3. do consider their preferences. porke ba lalaki ang inaanak, mahilig na sa bola? baka naman mas inclined sya into playing barbie dolls, ahahahaa~!

 

4. as you give your gift, offer a smile or a warm hug. believe me, maaalala nila yung regalo na yun kasi may kaakibat na sincerity from the giver.

 

in the end, hindi po natin layunin na magspread ng commercialization ng christmas. we're just spreading sum love….*yeah*. if a simple gift would make our loved ones happy, then go go go! in this season, happiness lang naman ang hanap natin, ayt?

 ayun. haha. kaya sa mga ninong at ninang jan, gudlak. mag-ipon na tayo. weee~.
